We´re off!
We are Iy"h going to Curitiba in the state of Parana tomorrow!Its a six hour drive...Levi´s brother just moved there three months ago and we are going lekovod vacation/his sons opshernish. We´ll be back in a couple of weeks. I will try to find a computer to check this blog ´cause I love the shmoozing........

Hey - I was in Curitiba, played a Piamenta concert there. Funny thing happened at that one. In the middle of a show some guy comes up to Avi and whispers something into his ear (He wanted us to play something in Yiddish) Avi goes, in front of a few hundred people, without warning me "And now Ladies & Gentlemen our keyboard player Avremi Gourarie will now sing something in Yiddish" Huh?! I had about 5 seconds to come up with a semi-decent version of an old classic - 'Nor Emunah'. Boy, did we have a good laugh afterwards. Good times...

Esti, its Parana, not Panama. Its a state in Brazil, 6 hours away from SPaulo. He´s on shlichus there (wife grew up on shlichus there)

Chana, a couple of weeks away from everything, sounds great! Your kids must be so excited. Might I add, Curitaba sounds quite exotic. Relax and enjoy!
