Don't give up on the blog. People need the blog - but they just don't have the time to regularly attend to it. That, or we have very boring lives and not much to report on a regular basis. In any event, the blog is a perfect vehicle for me saying...
Thanks to all of you who generously took the time to make Rochel-Leah's 18th birthday as special as could be. Her schoolmates joined to make her a surprise party for lunch. She felt like a million dollars. However... it was all the calls from family that put her over the top. She made a mental list that she counted down as each cherished relative called to wish her well on this special day. Thanks to all of you for making it so. May we all enjoy a multitude of each other's simchos for many, many years.
So you see Avremi, without this blog, I would have had to call/write each one of you individually ;-)
Avremi, don't give up! This was a great idea, and I'm sure new posts will be added shortly! Chana will have lots to write once she gets back to Brazil, about her trip to NYC. I hear through the grapevine, (her MIL) that she waited FOUR hours for her appointment today...ouch! And they're reviewing her case...not sure what that means, but I can't get through to her, so I'll have to try her in the morning....

I also noticed on my family blog, that when there are lots of comments, people tend to read the post
and then comment as well!
so perhaps if I write an xtra few comments, it'll generate some interest!
