Most of you know that I have joined Toastmasters International. It is a load of fun and this week as a rookie I volunteered to do the word and joke of the day.(I have already made a toast, been a grammarian and Jan. 9 I give my icebreaker-speech....I think I might be competing with Yossi and his Norwegian choir....incidently HOW IS THAT GOING???? Inquiring minds want to know....are we stilll singing???) What I did not know was that finding an appropriate joke was quite the challenge. Thanks goes to all of you out there who listened to my ganse collection and offered some of your own cherished ones.....most obliging of you!! For those of you who are curious to know which joke got a laugh, here it is!! Sorry I don't know how to make the font smaller. Enjoy!

P.S. The word I chose was indelible. May we all have a wonderful indelible lichtike Chanuka this year!
Joke of the Day
Two young engineers applied for a single position at a computer company. They both had the same qualifications, so in order to determine which individual to hire, the applicants were asked to take a test by the Department manager.
Upon completion of the test, both men missed only one of the questions. The manager went to the first applicant and said, “Thank you for your interest, but we’ve decided to offer the job to the other applicant.”
“But why,” asked the rejected candidate. “We both got 9 questions correct!”
“We based our decision not on the correct answers, but on the question you missed,” replied the manager. “For question #5, your fellow applicant put down ‘I don’t know the answer’… and you put down --- ‘Neither do I.”

Ha ha, funny. excuse my ignorance but what type of club did you join, it sounds interesting?
Toastmasters is a club that works on communication and public speaking skills....lots of fun and some of the people there are truly amazing speakers!
It is international and can be found on the web.www. toatmasters.org
Maybe Chana will join one in Portugese!
